Rafting in Bulgaria - Struma river

PROGRAM

Program sequence:

• Instructions and information about oncoming rafting;
• Each participant shall sign a declaration form for a voluntary participation;
• Rafting descend.

Note: In case of overnight in a tent camp we will provide you with tents, coverlet, and sleeping bag. Discounted rates are available for groups.

Safe equipment provided:

• Helmet, neoprene, life jacket, water boots, oar, raft-boat, experienced guides;

Personal equipment:

• Sporting outfit, sunglasses, suntan cream, clothes and shoes for change, towel.

Accommodation:

• a private hotel or a tent camping. We will provide you with a tent, sleeping bag, duvet and food.

Transport:

• Organized transport by minibus or car – upon request

Note:

• Suitable for beginners and advanced;

• A personal medical insurance is advisable. If any participant in the group does not have medical insurance, we do not bear any further responsibility in case of injury. You can buy an insurance policy in the office of RUAL TRAVEL.

Sample mixed PROGRAM:

1 day: Rafting
Transfer to Kresna gorge, just outside the town of Kresna. Preparation and instructions. Rafting. Rest in rafting camp. Afternoon – visit to a mineral water spring in Oshtava. Dinner and accommodation in traditional house or camp.

2 day: Horse riding
Breakfast. Preparation and instructions. Horse ride. Rest in rafting camp. Afternoon – visit to the Vlahi village, and Karakachan horse, dog and sheep breeds Project; Protection and research of predators (wolf, bear and mountain cat). Project; Social contact with a wolf; Vlahi waterfall. Dinner and accommodation in traditional house or camp.

3 day: Kayaking
Breakfast. Preparation and instructions. Kayak trip on Struma river. Rest in rafting camp. Afternoon – visit to the Oshtava waterfall. In the evening - departure.

Notice: The program can be changed or canceled depending on the weather conditions during the chosen period. The program is exemplary and the price includes the Rafting, the Horse riding and the kayaking. The accommodation can be made in hotel, camping or guest house in the region of Kresna. The transport could be made with rent-a-car or private transfer.
