Duration: around 10 hours (drive time included)
The excursion includes: Visit of the Troyan Monastery, the third largest monastery in Bulgaria, situated in the Balkan Mountains and founded in 16th century and famous for its wood decoration, the highest quality hand-made wood carving by masters from Tryavna. Visit to the Museum of Folk Crafts in the nearby village of Oreshak. Return to Sofia.
