The excursion includes: Visit of Borovets, the oldest mountain resort in Bulgaria, situated on the northern slopes of Rila Mountain, at the feet of peak Musala (2925 m), the highest mountain peak on the Balkan peninsula. Walking tour of the resort. Visit of the palace Tsarska Bistritsa, summer retreat for the Bulgarian royal family, presently owned by Simeon Sax-Coburg Gotha. Visit to the “Veil of Our Lady” nunnery in Samokov. Return to your hotel in Sofia.
