Sightseeing tour of Sofia – the St. Nedelya Cathedral, the St. George Rotunda, Banya Bashi Mosque, Sofia synagogue – the largest one on the Balkan peninsula, Ivan Vazov National Theater, the seat of the President and the seat of the Government, the Russian Church of St. Nicolas, St. Sophia Church, St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, National Assembly of Bulgaria, the monument of the Russian tsar Alexander II named “The Tsar Liberator”, Sofia University, the National Library. The tour finishes at the National Library. Time at leisure. 15h00 – departure to Plovdiv – one of Europe’s most ancient cities, older than Athens, Rome and Constantinople. 19h00 – arrival, accommodation at the hotel. Dinner. Visit to the Saints Constantine and Helena Church, Roman Theatre, Regional Ethnographic Museum. Continuation to Sofia. In the evening – arrival. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner. DAY 8: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
